I retired from the US Air Force in 1985 and immediately entered into the PGA Apprentice program. I became a memeber of the PGA four years later and have maintained my membership throughout my career. During my military careet I was a member of the Scott AFB base team, Clark AB, Phillipines base team, Osan AB, Korea Base team, and the Military Airlift Command team, I Also represented the Air Force Communications command golf team during the Air Force competition.

My PGA career consists of 1986 to 1994 section Junior Golf leader, helping to promote junior golf in the St. Louis area. I have been the assistant golf professional at Cardinal Creek GC, Scott AFB, IL, St Clair CC, Belleville IL, Greenbriar Hills CC, Kirkwood, MO. I have been head golf professional at St, Clair CC, Raintree GC, Hillsboro, MO, Royal Oaks GC, Troy, MO, Sun Valley GC, Ellsberry, MO, and Far Oaks GC, Caseyville IL. I have been involved in junior golf my whole PGA career and have since 1996 been involved in Special Olympics both Missouri and recently Illinois.

My Teaching is based on a very simple concept, taught by Manual De La Torre, that the club is swung in a circular and relaxed motion with the thought of making the club swing at the target. I believe the swing is a backward and forward motion. You create club speed by accelerating the club forward at the target and allowing your body to respond to that circular motion.
